  • Przewalski's horse (Equus ferus przewalskii) -- the world's last species of wild horse -- Hustai National Park, Mongolia.
  • Siberian ibex mother and kid (Capra sibirica), Ikh Nart Nature Reserve, Mongolia. The mother is radio-collared as part of a long-term research project run by Denver Zoo.

This photo was taken in captive setting as the bird had been injured and we brought it back to camp in an ultimately unsuccessful attempt at rehabilitation.
